Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. seeks an LVN to provide focused nursing care at Methodist Hospital Northeast in Texas. You will administer medications, monitor patients with complex needs, and support the care team in delivering high-quality outcomes.

You will work with RNs and physicians to stabilize patients, document updates, and help families understand care steps. A Texas LVN license is required, with compact license holders expected to obtain Texas licensure within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Vocational Nursing School.
• Active LVN Nursing License in Texas (or Texas LVN license within 90 days if on Compact).
• One year of applicable experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, manage lines/drains, assist with interventions.
• Monitor patient status and escalate concerns promptly for early intervention.
• Document timely, accurate updates to coordinate care in a high-acuity environment.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and recovery steps with clarity.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and specialists to transition patients from ICU toward recovery.
