Job summary

Southeast Health in Alabama seeks an experienced LPN for the Medical/Surgical Unit. You will perform nursing care activities, contribute to assessments, and participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Must hold a current Alabama LPN license and have at least two years of hospital LPN experience for float pool roles. English proficiency, BLS, EKG training and PC skills are required. Shift is 7:00 am–7:00 pm, 0.9 FTE.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Alabama.
• Minimum two years hospital LPN experience (for float pool LPNs only).
• Must read, write and speak English; BLS and EKG training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care activities for Medical/Surgical patients.
• Contributes to nursing assessment and care planning.
• Implements and evaluates patient care per policy.
• Supports hospital mission and established procedures.
