Talented Medical Solution is seeking a Certified Medical-Surgical Nurse with trauma experience for a Level I trauma center in Mesa, AZ. The role involves delivering standardized Med-Surg care to trauma patients, participating in triage and stabilization, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates will have Level 1 trauma care experience, excellent EMR documentation, and a strong focus on outcomes and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical-Surgical Nurse with trauma experience is required.
• Level 1 trauma care experience in ED or acute care setting.
• Proficient in triage, rapid assessment, and stabilization per protocol.
• Strong documentation in electronic medical records with accuracy.
• Ability to monitor patient progress and elevate timely to senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide standardized Med Surg care to level 1 trauma patients upon arrival.
• Assist in triage, initial assessment, and rapid stabilization per protocol.
• Document patient status and interventions accurately in EMR.
• Monitor patient progress and elevate concerns to senior staff promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and follow patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with trauma protocols, safety standards, and quality metrics.
• Meet and sustain performance targets using pipelines and dashboards.
• Manage on-site workload to ensure timely care delivery and high patient throughput.
• Engage in continuous learning to advance clinical skills and pursue professional growth.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, procedures, and post-discharge steps.
• Participate in on-site rounds and handoffs with clear communication of status and next steps.
• Assist with data collection for performance reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
