Job summary

Talented Medical Solution is seeking an experienced Med Surg nurse with trauma background for an on-site role in Mesa, AZ. The candidate will provide standardized care to level 1 trauma patients, assist in triage and rapid stabilization, and document status and interventions in the EMR.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, adhere to trauma protocols and quality metrics, and contribute to performance dashboards.

Qualifications

• CMSRN or equivalent is required.
• Level 1 trauma care experience in ED/acute care is required.
• Proficiency in triage and rapid assessment per protocol.
• Strong documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Collaborative team player with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide standardized Med Surg care to level 1 trauma patients on arrival.
• Assist in triage, initial assessment, and rapid stabilization per protocol.
• Document patient status and interventions accurately in EMR.
• Monitor patient progress and escalate concerns to senior staff promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and follow patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with trauma protocols, safety standards, and quality metrics.
• Meet and sustain performance targets using pipelines and metrics.
• Manage on-site workload to ensure timely care delivery and high patient throughput.
• Engage in continuous learning to advance clinical skills and growth.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and post-discharge steps.
• Participate in rounds and handoffs with clear communication.

Experience/Qualifications

• Ability to monitor patient progress and elevate timely to senior staff.
