Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a part-time Staff Nurse in the CDH Med/Surg Intermediate (3C) unit, 26-bed high-acuity care. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and participation in governance within a shared decision-making environment.

The position requires a BSN with Illinois RN license and BLS. Experience in acute care is preferred. Rotating weekend coverage and daytime shifts are provided in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain a BSN within three years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data and develops individualized care plans.
• Directs care and coordinates with nursing staff.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians, and ancillary staff.
• Participates in governance and unit projects.
