Job summary

HCA HealthONE Rose in Denver, CO seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for our Med Surg Float Pool. You will demonstrate competency in a variety of units, float to different areas as needed, and perform duties within your scope of practice and nursing protocols.

Candidates must hold Colorado RN licensure, BLS, ACLS (within 30 days), and typically have 2+ years of acute RN experience. No travel is required, and floating occurs within HCA HealthONE Rose.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross (within 30 days of hire)
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN is desirable
• Two or more years of acute RN experience preferred
• No travel required, floating within HCA HealthONE Rose only

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse may float to areas other than his/her assigned service area and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency
• Perform Lab testing as assigned based on protocol of each test, documenting results and communicating critical results as defined
• Follow lab testing safety guidelines, maintenance and QC completion/documentation, and proficiency testing as assigned
