Job summary

Rose Medical Center, part of HCA HealthONE, in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care across units. The nurse may float to areas other than the assigned service area and will perform duties within the scope of practice. A Colorado RN license and current BLS/NRP are required.

Educational background includes graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN is desirable. Two or more years of Women's health experience in postpartum, L&D, or NICU are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current NRP certification through AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics).
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN is desirable.
• 2+ years of Women's experience in Postpartum, L&D or NICU preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse demonstrates knowledge and skills in patient care.
• Float to areas other than assigned service area as needed.
• Perform lab testing as assigned per protocol and document results.
• Follow lab testing safety guidelines and QC processes.
• Take call and meet call shift requirements established by the department.
