Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required from last 4 years.

• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Guaranteed Hours 36 hours per week

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Adults and geriatrics, occasional peds, All-Majority of Census is Swing bed needing Iv abx, therapy or wound care. Medical patients vary : Diabetic, pancreatitis, pneumonia, etc.

Self scheduling with manager approving.

Weekend Requirements: At least every 3rd, at times every other.

Holiday Requirements: Rotation per unit needs.

Floating Requirements: Can float to ED to be back up help if volumes surg. A Med Surg and ED skills checklist should be provided with submission.

Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs Provided?: Navy Blue.

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

Driver’s license required for submission
