Job summary

Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville, AR seeks a CNA or PCT ( uncertified) for PRN night coverage in the Med/Surg unit. You will assist patients with daily living activities and provide basic nursing care under the supervision of the RN in charge.

You will participate in maintaining a safe, clean environment, observe patient changes, and communicate with the nursing team. Eligibility includes HS diploma, CNA program completion, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of certified nursing assistant program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assists in admission, transfer and discharge of patient.
• Maintains a safe, clean environment and adheres to hospital policies.
• Communicates patient status changes to the nurse and team.
• Provides care appropriate to pediatric, geriatric and general patient populations.
• Demonstrates a respectful, professional interaction with patients and families.
