Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Texarkana, TX seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support nursing staff in a patient‑care unit. Under RN supervision, you assist with routine tasks, admit/discharge support, prepare rooms, transport patients, and maintain equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Patient care experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• CNA license is required in the state of employment and BLS is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Prepare rooms for admission by setting up IV pots and adjusting beds.
• Safely transport stable patients and maintain security/confidentiality.
• Complete pertinent documents and assist with stocking and inventory.
• Communicate effectively with team members and respond to emergencies.
