Job summary

Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center seeks a Clinical Educator to oversee education and staff development across the facility and affiliated lines. You will ensure competency and align training with regulatory and accreditation standards.

The role requires an RN, acute care experience, and prior education or program coordination experience, plus current Missouri licensure and timely BLS/ALS/PALS certifications. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Four (4) years of clinical acute care nursing experience required; critical care experience strongly preferred.
Two (2) years of clinical education experience or project inclusion preferred.
Experience with regulatory education requirements in acute care settings and program development/coordination preferred.
BLS required within 7 days. ALS and PALS certifications required within 30 days.
Current Missouri or compact state RN licensure required.
Competence in practice as appropriate for previous experience or completion of an orientation program. Participates in ongoing educational and training opportunities.

Responsibilities

Provide education and clinical staff development and training across the facility and affiliated service lines.
Ensure competency assessment and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards related to Clinical Education.
