Job summary

Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center seeks an compassionate Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care through the nursing process. You will coordinate with physicians and the care team to plan and deliver high-quality outcomes, while ensuring safety and compassionate family engagement.

The role requires 0-2 years clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting, Missouri RN licensure, and CPR/BLS certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN licensure in state of practice required; BCLS mandatory; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and organizational policies.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings; reports changes to care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for adverse effects.
• Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team for care planning and execution.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR/code team activities when needed.
• Maintains infection control practices and safety standards across all care activities.
