Job summary

University Hospitals in Ohio seeks a Clinical Educator for Med/Surg at Conneaut and Geneva Medical Center for a 32-hour work week. The role provides and evaluates clinical education for licensed and unlicensed staff across shifts.

Collaborating with unit leadership, you will coach staff, ensure adherence to accreditation standards, and work with Nursing Education to develop and assess learning programs while protecting PHI and following UH policies.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• MSN is preferred.
• Master’s Degree for Level 4 NICU, Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum and Antepartum is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides and evaluates clinical education for licensed and unlicensed staff on all shifts.
• Collaborates with unit leadership to ensure staff competency at hire and annually.
• Coaches and develops staff to maintain quality and promote change.
• Partners with Nursing Education and Professional Development to identify learning needs and implement educational strategies.
