Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff on the Medical-Surgical unit during assigned shifts
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care
• Assist in admissions, discharges, and direct patient care as needed
• Act as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff
• Monitor staffing levels, manage scheduling needs, and ensure smooth operations
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
