Job summary

Dignity Health’s Chandler Regional Medical Center is hiring an experienced Medical Surgical Acute Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care in a busy hospital setting. You’ll perform assessments, implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and safety.

Ideal candidates hold nursing licensure in Arizona, have at least 1 year of RN experience, and are BLS certified with ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• One (1) year RN experience
• RN License with the state of Arizona
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 months of hire
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (Preferred)
• One year medical surgical intensive care experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients' conditions in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
• Documents according to policy/procedure, standards, and guidelines.
• Serves as an advocate for patients' needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
