What You'll Do

• Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Operate sterilization equipment according to established safety and quality standards
• Monitor and document sterilization cycles and biological testing results
• Prepare surgical instrument trays and sterile supplies for procedures
• Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and equipment
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and department standards
• Identify damaged instruments and elevate concerns appropriately
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to support daily operations

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Sterile Processing certification preferred (or required per facility guidelines)
• Previous Sterile Processing or healthcare experience preferred
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control practices, and medical terminology
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift up to 2550 pounds as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods (for certain tasks)
