Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy experience in hospital or retail setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive admission medication history for patients.
• Uses appropriate pharmaceutical-medical terms, abbreviations, and symbols.
• Performs calculations for usual dosage determinations and therapy duration.
• Interacts professionally with patients, families, and health-care team; follows dress code and confidentiality.
• Participates in orientation/training of new Med Rec staff and ensures accuracy of trainee work.
