Job summary

Luminis Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in preparation, packaging, and delivery of medications under pharmacist supervision. Responsibilities include medication distribution, compounding, and adherence to state and federal regulations in a hospital setting.

Requires a high school diploma with pharmacy experience preferred and current Maryland registration; PTCB is a plus. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits available for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy experience in hospital or retail setting preferred.
• PTCB certification is preferred and beneficial.
• Strong accuracy and attention to safety in medication handling.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and prepare medications with minimal supervision according to SOPs.
• Maintain knowledge of hospital pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Deliver medications to appropriate locations and monitor storage conditions for compliance.
• Follow policies for controlled substances and complete related audits and paperwork.
• Answer phone calls courteously and respond to messages professionally.
• Support sterile compounding per USP 797/800 guidelines and perform calculations.
