About the Unit

Corewell Health Blodgett Lab provides testing for Blodgett's 380+ inpatient, ER, and surgical patients. Located in East Grand Rapids, our lab offers high-quality, high-volume testing in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Scope of Work

Performs, interprets, and correlates clinical laboratory tests following departmental protocols to assist in physician diagnosis and treatment. Prepares specimens for testing, screens patient specimens, and analyzes specimens for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Performs quality control procedures and assists in maintaining an efficient laboratory operation. May serve as a generalist or as a limited specialist.
