Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Med Lab Tech 3 to perform and monitor a full range of laboratory tests and research with minimal supervision.

This role requires adherence to regulatory standards, strong quality control practices, and collaboration with diverse teams to deliver accurate results and reliable service.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience above minimum qualification.
• Experience: 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Certification/registration: CLS or MLT certification/registration.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory tests in compliance with department procedures and all pertinent regulatory requirements.
• Follows quality control, quality assurance, safety, and infection control procedures.
• Performs instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Accurately reports test results.
• Maintains appropriate inventory of supplies.
• Maintains effective communication and working relationships with all laboratory personnel, other disciplines, and external customers.
• Participates in laboratory projects and educational activities.
• Demonstrates and educates laboratory methods and technical skills to others.

Job Summary
