Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health Laboratory is seeking a Med Lab Tech 2 in College Station, TX. The role requires performing a full range of lab tests with strict adherence to QC, safety, and regulatory standards.

You will calibrate and troubleshoot instruments, report results, and maintain supplies under minimal supervision. The position emphasizes collaboration across lab teams, ongoing education, and adherence to core values.

Qualifications

• ASCP MLS certified or equivalent generalist with at least 2 years of hospital experience.
• Performs laboratory tests in compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Follows quality control, quality assurance, safety and infection control procedures.
• Performs instrument maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting.
• Accurately reports test results; maintains inventory; communicates with lab and external customers.
