Job summary

Global Medical Response in Texas is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport for Med-Trans customers. This VFR role involves safe patient transport with a medical team and supports a 7/7 schedule with on-duty housing at many locations.

Starting salary ranges from $88,759 to $97,635, plus a 27% geographic modifier depending on location, and a $15,000 sign-on bonus (eligibility). Retention bonus plans exist after three years.

Qualifications

• FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate required for VFR operations.
• Instrument rating and medical certificate required for flight duties.
• Hours targets reflect experience for helicopter operations.
• Total flight hours and helicopter-specific hours must meet minimums.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely with a medical team to and from locations.
• Maintain aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and FARs.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
