Provident Behavioral Health seeks a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments to residents with accuracy, dignity, and safety, following physician orders and regulatory standards.

You will document all medication activities in MAR/TAR in real time, monitor residents during passes, and respond promptly to concerns or refusals, while maintaining clean, compliant medication areas and following infection control protocols.

Formación

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+ are required.
• Medication Administration certification, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
• Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.
• Senior care experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document all medication activities accurately and in real-time in MAR/TAR.
• Monitor residents during and after medication passes and report concerns promptly.
• Observe residents for health changes and administer medications for symptom relief as ordered.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms, following infection control and safety protocols.
• Complete narcotic counts and ensure policy compliance.

Role Overview

• Documenting all medication activities accurately and in real-time in MAR/TAR
• Monitoring residents during and after medication passes and reporting any concerns or refusals promptly
• Observing residents for health changes and administering medications for symptom relief as ordered
• Maintaining clean, organized medication carts and rooms, and adhering to infection control and safety protocols
• Completing narcotic counts and ensuring compliance with policies

Qualifications And Skills Required

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification, CPR, and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred: Senior care experience
