Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc is hiring a Medication Aide / Med Tech to deliver safe and accurate medication care for residents. You will be responsible for administering medications, documenting accurately, and monitoring residents during medication passes.

The ideal candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED, relevant certifications, and preferably experience in senior care. The position offers competitive pay and benefits including medical plans, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED, age 18 or older.
• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Medication Aide / Med Tech – Deliver Safe, Accurate Medication Care for Our Residents

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED, age 18 or older
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Pay Range

$18.65 - $23.45 per hour
