Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications per physician orders and document accurately in MAR/TAR. You will monitor residents during and after passes, ensuring timely symptom relief while maintaining safety and dignity.

You will follow Six Rights, keep carts clean, report concerns promptly, and uphold infection control standards to protect resident health and comfort. This role supports high-quality, compassionate senior care.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification in Medication Administration required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Pay Range:20.60 - 25.80
