Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide / Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity. The role emphasizes adherence to physician orders and meticulous documentation in MAR/TAR within a senior living environment.

Qualification requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and Medication Administration certification, with preferred prior senior care experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.

• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.

Pay Range: 16.40 - 20.55
