Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in the United States is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications safely, accurately, and with dignity. You will administer medications per orders, observe residents, and document promptly.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred, and you will work on-site ensuring compliance with safety standards and Six Rights of Medication

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 18+ years old.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred or required.
• Medication administration certification required or pursued.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration and document in MAR/TAR.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes and report changes.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms; follow infection control.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
