Job summary

Live Well Homecare in Leawood, Kansas is hiring a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments to residents following physician orders and the Six Rights.

You will document promptly in MAR/TAR, monitor residents during and after passes, report health changes, and maintain medication carts and rooms with strict infection control and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 18+ years old.
• Medication Administration certification, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Preferred experience in senior care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications following orders and the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document medication administration promptly in MAR/TAR.
• Monitor residents during and after medication passes; observe symptoms and respond to concerns.
• Report refusals or health changes immediately.
• Maintain medication carts and rooms in a clean, organized manner.
• Complete narcotic counts as per policy and adhere to infection control and safety standards.
