Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Representative to support physicians and APPs in a busy outpatient setting in Mansfield, TX. The role includes clinical procedures, patient education, and accurate entry of health records.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, national certification, BLS, and at least two years of MA experience in a practice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.

• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of MA experience in a practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide healthcare services to patients under the instruction of physicians or APPs.
• Perform routine clinical procedures as assigned.
• Participate in patient education and counseling.
• Enter accurate documentation into patients’ health records.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of certification.
