Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Representative to support physicians and APPs with clinical tasks and patient interactions. You will perform routine clinical procedures, educate patients, and ensure proper documentation in health records within a busy medical practice.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma, completion of an approved Medical Assistant program, a National/Registered MA certification, and BLS; minimum 2 years’ MA experience

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant/Patient Representative will be able to provide healthcare services to individuals as instructed by the Physician or APP. The Medical Assistant will perform routine clinical procedures, participate in patient education, enter appropriate documentation into patients’ health records, and perform all other duties as assigned within the scope of their certification. Job Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program Licenses and/or Certifications: National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience in a practice, preferred Methodist Medical Group is the North Texas physician organization affiliated with Methodist Health System.
