Job summary

Priority Management is seeking a dedicated CNA for our Legacy at Town Creek location in Palestine, TX. The role involves direct patient care, medication assistance, and responding to resident needs on a day shift.

The CNA must hold current Texas CNA and Texas Medication Aide certifications in good standing and will join a team committed to compassionate patient care and support for residents.

Qualifications

• Current Texas CNA certification in good standing.
• Current Texas Medication Aide certification in good standing.
• Ability to assist on floor as needed.

Responsibilities

• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records drug, dosage and time of administration.
• Presents medication to resident and observes ingestion or performs administration.
• Takes vital signs or observes resident response to medications and reports anything unexpected.
• Takes and records temperatures, BP, pulse and respiration; monitors intake/output as directed.
• Responds to signal lights and inquiries to determine resident needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Shift: Day
Every other weekend off 12-hr shifts 7a-7p

Shift Bonus available for picking up extra shifts.

Will assist on floor as C.N.A. Must have current TX certification for both Med Aide and Nurse Aide.

Responsibilities

• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage and time of administration on specified forms or records.
• Presents medication to resident and observes ingestion or other application or administers medication using specified procedures.
• Takes vital signs or observes residents to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions.
• Takes and records temperatures, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
• Answers signal lights, bells or intercom system to determine resident needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
