Job summary

Client in Columbia, SC seeks an experienced Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM) Administrator to manage endpoint configuration, software deployment, patch management, and compliance across servers and client devices.

The role involves maintaining MECM infrastructure, deploying operating system and application updates, monitoring security settings, and ensuring compliance with agency IT policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of MECM experience across endpoints and servers.
• 3+ years packaging software with MECM via Bare Metal and Software Center.
• 3+ years patch management with MECM and DELL Client System Inventory Agent.
• 2+ years of PowerShell scripting.
• 1+ year of Active Directory administration.
• 1+ year of DNS management.
• 1+ year of DHCP scope management.
• 1+ year of Sites and Services administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage MECM environment per Microsoft best practices and SCDOT IT policies.
• Deploy Windows OS and Office updates using MECM.
• Patch deployment across devices including DELL hardware.
• Package and distribute software via MECM and Software Center.
• Generate reports on deployments, versions, and compliance.
• Monitor AppLocker settings and logs.
• Support CMG for cloud-based endpoint management.
• Coordinate with Desktop Support and IT Systems teams.
• Assist with endpoint upgrades to maintain vendor lifecycle compliance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
