Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• At least 4 years in product testing, validation, or an engineering lab.
• Experience testing electromechanical systems, sensors, actuators, or automated equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute validation and verification test plans for mechatronic systems and components.
• Design, build, and maintain test fixtures, test stands, and automated test equipment.
• Define test methodologies, procedures, and acceptance criteria based on product requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct functional, performance, durability, environmental, and reliability testing.
• Support root cause investigations and failure analysis activities.
• Analyze test data, develop technical conclusions, and communicate results through reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Software, Quality, and Engineering teams.
• Review product requirements and specifications to ensure testability and validation coverage.
• Provide technical input during design reviews and risk assessments.
• Support prototype, pilot, and production validation activities.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, processes, and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement.
