Job summary

Dana Corp in Maumee, Ohio seeks a detail-oriented test technician to perform mechanical and electrical testing of driveline components and assemblies, following defined procedures and safety rules. You will operate dynamometers and fatigue test benches, analyze data, support calibration, and ensure documentation and adherence to quality KPIs while coordinating with engineers and teammates on daily tasks.

Qualifications

Two year degree preferred in mechanical or electrical engineering technology.
High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years in automotive field.
2+ years in test lab with equipment troubleshooting, setup and profile writing.
Maintenance and calibration experience preferred.
Knowledge of electromechanical systems and sensors.

Responsibilities

Set up, create test profiles, operate dynamometers and fatigue benches for driveline components.
Work with engineers to ensure correct fixturing, setup, and data acquisition.
Assemble/disassemble driveline components and assemblies.
Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues and escalate when needed.
Support quality objectives, KPIs, and documentation.
Calibrate equipment and verify performance; maintain equipment uptime.
Assist with safety assessments, daily scheduling, and parts organization.
