Job summary

Phoenix Contact is seeking a Mechatronics Technician I to support production performance, equipment management, and implementation. This role collaborates with engineering and quality to achieve targets and customer satisfaction, and it maintains and repairs electrical, electronic, and mechanical components to keep equipment functioning.

Requirements include an Associate degree or 1–3 years in a production environment, CAD experience (AutoCAD), and hands-on ability with mechanical assemblies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 1–3 years of relevant work experience in a production setting.
• Experience with AutoCAD or CAD tools.
• Knowledge of industry standards and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Supports production performance and resources.
• Monitors equipment performance and optimizes machine efficiency.
• Troubleshoots and maintains electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Ensures quality standards and handles non-conformances.
• Coordinates improvements with Manufacturing Engineering.
• Creates tooling drawings in AutoCAD when required.
• Completes machine qualification testing and documentation.
• Maintains spare parts lists and executes preventive maintenance.
• Provides technical support to manufacturing personnel.
• Adheres to PPE, ISO specs, and company procedures.
