Job summary

CAD-Engineering-Resources is seeking a troubleshooter to diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on manufacturing equipment, focusing on CNC lathes and warm forge presses. This six-month contract in Fort Wayne, IN offers a 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and a pay range of $26.00–$30.00/hour depending on experience.

You will install and maintain electrical systems, diagnose faults, and document all maintenance actions.Collaboration with engineers and plant

Qualifications

Experience in production environments with CNC machinery and mechanical press repair/troubleshooting.
Ability to interpret hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic blueprints.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Comfort with shift flexibility and overtime.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on manufacturing equipment, especially CNC lathes and warm forge presses.
Install and maintain electrical systems per code and blueprint specs.
Diagnose faults, replace defective parts, and validate machine operation.
Document maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements.
