Job summary

Janicki Industries in Bellingham, WA seeks a Mechatronics Technician to repair and maintain complex automated systems, including CNC machines, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical components. Strong hands-on problem solving and mechatronics background are essential.

The role involves wiring, debugging, and improving automation, with exposure to robotics and NX CAD tools. Willingness to work in a varied shift, and to obtain security clearance where required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent technical training required.
• Microsoft Office and SAP familiarity required; CATIA and/or Unigraphics desirable.
• Basic NX CAD skills required.
• Experience with CNC processes, CAM software, tool paths, and fixtures preferred.
• Industrial Robotics certification is a plus.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of CNC machines with strong troubleshooting focus.
• Install, write logic, and troubleshoot PLC systems.
• Apply NC programming knowledge for machine operations.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic components and electrical systems.
• Read blueprints and electrical drawings for troubleshooting and installations.
• Assist in preventive maintenance program development and execution.
• Participation in on-call rotations as required.
• Maintain safety and quality standards.
