Job summary

Ace Precision in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Industrial Machine Repair & Preventive Maintenance Technician to keep CNC machines, PLCs, robotics, hydraulics and pneumatics running at peak performance. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on complex equipment to support advanced manufacturing.

You’ll interpret manuals and drawings, disassemble and reassemble parts, and perform wiring tasks.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree with five years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
• Ability to interpret manuals, drawings, and specifications to guide repairs.
• Strong math skills and problem-solving mindset.
• Safety-first mindset and adherence to LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventive maintenance on shop equipment.
• Interpret manuals, drawings, and specifications to guide repair procedures.
• Disassemble, repair, replace parts, and reassemble equipment.
• Maintain facility systems such as heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical.
• Handle wiring, piping, and basic electrical repairs.
• Support equipment relocation, installation, and requisitioning of parts or supplies.
• Safely manage hazardous materials and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
