Job summary

JLL is recruiting a Mechatronics Junior Technician Apprentice to learn installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of electronic, mechanical, and control systems in a high‑tech fulfillment center. Training blends classroom, lab, and on‑the‑job learning under experienced guidance.

The program emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on experience with PLCs, robotics, and automation equipment across multiple sites during the 12‑week foundational training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with HS diploma or GED.
• Must pass the Mechanical Aptitude Test.
• Willingness to travel for 12 weeks of training at multiple sites.
• Basic troubleshooting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain mechatronics equipment in a Fulfillment/Distribution Center.
• Shadow technicians and follow safety and on‑the‑job learning procedures.
• Study PLCs and robotics concepts in lab and on the shop floor.
