Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 1+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot automated conveyor systems.
• Lead and audit preventive electrical/mechanical maintenance procedures.
• Perform PLC control diagnosis and maintenance.

Skills

Job description

Job Title: Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT)

New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is seeking a full-time Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) for our client.

Compensation

$28.30 per hour + $1/hr. night differential

Position Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Maintain and troubleshoot automated conveyor systems
• Lead and audit preventive electrical/mechanical maintenance procedures
• Perform PLC control diagnosis and maintenance (Allen Bradley)
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and motors
• Utilize blueprints and schematics for maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with organizational levels to build relationships

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience with automated conveyor systems and controls
• 2+ years experience in repairing material handling equipment
• 2+ years conducting predictive and preventive maintenance
• 1+ years in metal and wood fabrication
• 1+ years reading blueprints and electrical schematics
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
• Procedure-based maintenance experience
• Ability to interpret equipment metrics like OEE/Up Time

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical fields
• 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment safety standards
• Project Management experience
• Experience with CMMS systems
• Knowledge of networking systems
• Experience with robotic or electromechanical systems
• Basic troubleshooting of input/output functions and low voltage signals
• Familiarity with Linux CLI
