Job summary

JLL in New Jersey is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team with repair and maintenance of material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, performing preventative maintenance with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems and controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all Operations facilities.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift. Travel up to 20% may be required.
