Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. The role includes installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years in MHE repair and preventive maintenance, and preferred associates in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Associates or higher degree in mechanical/electrical field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• 1+ year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading.
• 1+ year knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with CMMS and robotic/electromechanical maintenance.
• Familiarity with MHE safety standards per OEM and industry.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment across facilities.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians to support growth and knowledge transfer.
• Promote safety and complete preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in MHE, conveyors, and robotics.
• Maintain positive relations with Operations staff and manage inventory.
