Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician in Fargo, ND to support Operations Maintenance by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

The position emphasizes safe practices, preventive maintenance, and strong troubleshooting across electrical and mechanical domains.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.
2+ years repairing material handling equipment.
2+ years performing predictive and preventive maintenance procedures.
Associates or higher in mechanical or electrical field.
2+ years experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
1+ year knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
Experience with CMMS.
Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance.
Able to troubleshoot basic input/output functions.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems.
Install, maintain and repair automated packaging/distribution equipment.
Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
Promote safe working environment and complete preventive maintenance with proper documentation.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on MHE (belts, motors, relays, etc.).
Maintain positive working relationships across Operations facility.
Track and store department inventory.
