Job summary

JLL in Edison, NJ seeks a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Responsibilities include promoting safety, completing preventative maintenance with documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years performing predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends/nights/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment (MHE) and pneumatic systems.
• Install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in MHE.
• Mentor junior technicians.
• Promote a safe working environment and complete preventative maintenance with proper documentation.
• Travel up to 20%.
