Job summary

JLL in New Jersey is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building.

You will install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, mentor junior technicians, and promote a safe work environment while adhering to CMMS procedures and safety standards. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years repairing material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of preventive maintenance experience.
• Able to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on MHE (material handling equipment)
• Maintain a positive working relationship across the Operations facility
• Track and store department inventory
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours
• Possible travel up to 20%
