Mechatronics & Robotics Technician

Job Description Summary

Support the Operations Maintenance Team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
• Create, assign, and close out work orders, and track inventory.
• Mentor junior technicians.
• Maintain positive relationships across the facility.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience with MHE or conveyor systems and controls.
• 2+ years of conducting predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience with a CMMS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical fields.
• Experience with MHE safety standards and robotic maintenance.
• Basic troubleshooting of input/output functions.

Physical Demands

• Ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work with PPE as required.
• Move between departments and work in a warehouse environment.
• Type on a computer for 1-2 hours daily.
