Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Mechatronics & Robotics) to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building in Niagara Falls, NY.

The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians and develop your skills. Sign-on/relocation bonus is available, and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the building.
• Install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE.
• Maintain a positive working relationship across the Operations facility.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Possible travel up to 20%.
