Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Mechatronics & Robotics) to support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems across the Niagara Falls facility. The role also involves installing, maintaining and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays.
• 2+ years of experience in repair of material handling equipment.
• 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems.
• Install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Mentor junior technicians.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE (belts, motors, relays, etc.).
• Move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours; possible travel up to 20%.
• Maintain inventory records and relationships across the facility.
