Job summary

ADVICS Manufacturing Ohio Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to lead projects improving production methods and equipment reliability.

You will design, develop, and test machinery and tools, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement fixtures as needed. The role requires strong blueprint reading, PLC/CNC experience, and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 10+ years in related field preferred.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Experience with PLC and CNC programming and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement projects to improve production methods and equipment performance.
• Design, develop, and test machinery and tools.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.
• Modify or create special tools and fixtures as needed.
• Conduct cost assessments and validations for projects.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in the plant.
• Provide technical assistance for production equipment.
• Inspect and assess parts for dimensional accuracy.
• Adjust, test, and operate equipment for optimal performance.
• Use metalworking tools for part fabrication and repair.
• Initiate purchase orders for necessary parts and machines.
