Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible to obtain the Ohio CTE teaching license aligned to Mechatronics or related fields.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge and industry experience in advanced manufacturing, mechatronics, robotics, and automation.
• Ability to develop hands-on, lab-based instruction and to teach in a structured program.
• Ability to collaborate with students, families, and industry partners to support pathway growth.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop a multi-year Mechatronics pathway curriculum aligned to Ohio CTE requirements.
• Lead lab design, equipment selection, and safety readiness for a new Mechatronics program.
• Coordinate credentials, industry partnerships, and work-based learning opportunities.
• In Year 2, deliver direct instruction and grow the pathway with ongoing program expansion.
